A Case of Variant Form of Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome Associated With Paroxysmal Atrial Tachycardia.

Abstract
|
|
|
A case of variant of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome was presented.
A 16-year-old male was admitted to the hospital complaining of palpitation, dyspnea and dizziness. He had 3 times of paroxysmal atrial tachycardia prior to admission. The electrocardiogram revealed shortening of PR interval and normal duration of QRS with small delta wave (a variant form of W-P-W syndrome).
The attacks of paroxysmal atrial tachycardia was treated with digitalis and quinidine sulfate.
